We are making eco-conscious choices while shopping!

MEET ME

Hi there, I'm Diana, originally from Torino (Italy), calling Amsterdam home.

I've had the privilege of working in Fashion throughout my whole career, working and living in Milan, Shanghai and here Amsterdam! During this journey, I've felt an ever-growing desire to make a positive change in this industry, stopping the waste and slowing down fast fashion. Its undeniable impact on our planet pushed me to act. Using what's already been produced and giving items new life through reuse and repurpose.

Even more, when I became a mother of my little girl, it ignited the spark that led to the creation of Little Yayao, a stylish boutique with a mission in sustainability.

THE MISSION

Little yayao isn't just another second-hand fashion store; it's a personal passion that grew from a real desire to breathing clothes and shoes a new life, choosing to recycle and reuse.

Little yayao is an online boutique that turns preloved items into new pieces to be used again and again. We see Beauty that just cannot go to waste.
Reviving and renewing rescued, vintage and second-hand treasures into new shining items to love.

Little yayao mission is to reshape the industry towards sustainability.
Taking that first step towards a brighter, easier, more eco-conscious fashion system. We can each make a positive impact buying second-hand, reducing waste,
and leaving a better world.

MY PERSONAL STORY

As a parent, I know how overwhelming it can be just to go shopping, sometimes it is just not possible. You have too many things to do and to think, that going to the shops would be nice, but not always so easy. So we turn to online. But where to shop? And who to trust? Second-hand platforms are nice, but searching for a good standard piece is quite overwhelming and takes hours to research.

Here, the search and check has been done by me already!

On top, we all know how quickly kids grow. Kids' clothing has a short lifespan, and that's why we're all about recycling and re-loving it. Let's give these clothes a second or more chances to shine again!

WHAT'S IN THE NAME?

Yayao? what is it?

It all goes back to my daughter, bilingual italo-dutch. In her early stages, she charmingly named butterflies "Yayao" while adding a sweet flying gesture to the sound.

It is super cute to hear and see!
